Role Overview

The Python AI Engineer builds, integrates, and maintains AI systems in production. The role focuses on implementing models, pipelines, agent workflows, and evaluation logic in Python, working closely with product managers, AI solutions engineers, and platform teams to ensure systems are robust, scalable, and observable.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain AI services, pipelines, and agent workflows in Python.
  • Implement LLM integrations, RAG pipelines, and orchestration logic.
  • Design evaluation, monitoring, and fallback mechanisms for AI systems.
  • Optimize performance, reliability, and cost efficiency in production.
  • Collaborate with solutions engineers to implement customer-facing AI systems.
  • Write clean, testable, and maintainable code.
  • Debug and improve AI systems based on real usage and feedback.
  • Contribute to internal libraries, tooling, and best practices.
  • What We're Looking For

  • Strong Python experience in AI, ML, or data-heavy systems.
  • Experience building production services (APIs, workers, pipelines).
  • Familiarity with LLMs, embeddings, vector stores, or agent frameworks.
  • Understanding of testing, monitoring, and operational concerns.
  • Pragmatic mindset focused on reliability and iteration.
  • Ability to collaborate across product and delivery teams.
  • Bonus: Experience with cloud-native deployments (AWS) and MLOps practices.
